Dakota and The Female Assassins
80
“Whose house is that?” I asked as we drove by a wicked looking house.
“Stories are told that five woman assassins live there. They are heard of but never seen “answered Travis.
“Really? I would love to see them and what the inside of their house looks like. I bet they have a whole bunch of cool weapons and artillery.”
“Yea, good luck on that and trying not to get massacred.”
I sat there in silence and gazed out the window of the car looking at the house. I wanted to see them so bad. We drove to Travis’s parent’s house to visit. We were going to stay there for the weekend. I had three days and two nights to somehow manage to make it inside that house. Travis new my curiosity and how infatuated I was with things of this nature. I often fantasized about being some sort of ninja assassin. I had a good aim and good reflex skills (so I was told) when I would visit the shooting ranges with papa.
Night fell and time came for me to explore my curiosity and make it inside that house. There was nothing that could stop me, even if it meant my very last breathe.
Papa made sure I was a diversified being. From gymnastics to track, to sports, archery, you name it. He made sure I was capable of protecting and defending myself. He made sure nothing would happen to his baby girl. Papa was a General in the Military; he was always called to duty. Mama left us behind. She was diagnosed with cancer and passed shortly after that. I was only 7. It was hard for me when papa would leave. I had a live in nanny that was my care taker when papa would be called to duty.
It was about midnight now and everyone was sleeping even Travis. This was my break to leave the house. I ran down the block and turned the corner to find the house sitting in darkness. Why was I so drawn to it? I just wanted in. I ran up to the side window that faced a bunch of trees. I peeked in but couldn’t see anything there was a curtain that hindered my vision from looking in. I suddenly felt an instant sting on the side of my neck. I thought it couldn’t be a bee that stung me. I reached up to feel my neck and my sight went dark.
I woke up to five sets of eyes on me. Had I made it in? Had my curiosity not failed me? But….. I couldn’t move. My legs were not tied to anything. Still dazed and confused on how I made it inside.
“Why were you snooping inside our window? Who sent you here and what do you want?” Cardelia the main assassin spoke.
“I-I heard that five assassins lived here and I was curious to see you five. I always fantasized about being a ninja assassin, but never knew how to become one.”
“Is that so? A ninja assassin……. Huh? What are your qualifications young lady and do you have what it takes. I don’t think you are that covert in my opinion because I caught you on the outside not inside. A good assassin isn’t caught period. A clean break is made. If this was a mission you would have been dead with a failed mission.”
“I can prove to you. Please-Please let me try?” I begged
“Ok, one chance will be given can’t make no promises if you will make it out alive. Dalavesta grab two weapons and let’s walk” demanded Cardelia
“Wait I can’t feel my legs.”
“Nelenna, remove the pin from her spine.”
“Yes Ma’am” replied Nelenna.
Nelenna, walked over to me and removed a pin from my spine and helped me up. My legs felt like spaghetti noodles, but as I started to walk the sensation returned little by little. We walked down the dark hall way to two red wooden doors. Cardelia pushed them both open. It was a large fighting arena that they used for practicing. All five ladies stood in a “V” formation with Cardelia being the peak.
“Peri’elle, take center and hold position.” said Cardelia
“Yes Ma’am” replied Peri’elle
Peri’elle was a beauty her skin was very smooth with jet black long hair. She wore her hair in a braided that extended right down the center of her back. She took center and held her form.
“Young lady take center.” Cardelia’s voice echoed
“The name is Dakota.”
“Very well, Dakota take center.”
I walked towards the center. This was my chance to make my fantasy into my present reality. I closed my eyes and inhaled.

....you could bring Quentin Tarratino down to his knees with this one and make him cry like a little baby until you decided to let him transfer this script to the big screen - but then again, we're talkin' about the amazing Bellaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa - one of Hubland's bonafide superstars ......
